    Canadian impressive for snow next Sunday (late) into Tuesday. Hopefully one of these works out.

    I know we are still over three days away, and I am consistently a positive person when it comes to possible winter weather, but the trends are not good. 12z GFS is a total miss again. Looks like about a 10% chance that we see an inch of snow out of this right now Thursday morning.

    I was just going to remark about that. It looks like from looking at the 12 Z models so far and going back 24 hours it is trending south. Lots of talk about that on the main mid Lantic thread. We don’t want to trend much more south or else it’ll lack precipitation for RVA.

    Agreed. And possible freezing rain also. Look at those winds tho. We don’t want freezing rain w gusts to 45-50. Need to get inside of 72 hours to really have a better idea.

    12z GFS is fully back on board for next Thursday for RVA.

    Need it to go ENE if it’s gonna move north. May not have as much qpf in RVA if that occurs, but at least it would stay mostly snow.

    Just to have 12z Euro show good snow followed by 18z GFS show historic snow is at least encouraging after pretty much being snowless in RVA since 2019.

    Not for Baltimore area but 18z GFS shows a few inches of rain again for DC southward. Maybe that’s part of what he’s saying.

    Anyone counting on rain through Wednesday morning now at least for gardens/outdoor plants/lawn better think again for our area. Looks like any significant rain holds off until Wednesday/Thursday now.
