  1. I learned a long time ago that is best to not have a vested interest in the weather. I'd feel differently if I owned a business that was dependent on certain types of weather for the business to be successful.

  6. NH is always too slow to react to winter weather and people drive way too fast in slippery conditions...a perfect storm...
  7. ....oh that Friday night I did wear a winter coat , ...but in general I do not feel the cold all that easily. I easily could live in a much colder climate.
  8. No frost here in Methuen....and that means there will not be a single frost this month. ...and another fall "heatwave" incoming. Have not had to turn the heat on the entire month...first time in 30 years of owning the home.

  10. The potential strength of El Nino can certainly trainwreck the entire winter of 23-24. Anyone who says otherwise is doing the weather equivalent of" whistling pass the graveyard"

  12. You may want to consider purchasing these. They work very well! they come in different sizes. And they can be reused. Relatively inexpensive Quick Dam 17 ft. Flood Barrier QD617-1 - The Home Depot Amazon also sells them.

  16. Here in NE Massachusetts that was more like October. I've certainly noticed a change over the years similar to what you have noticed.
  17. The issue with a study is we can only go back so far in time because of the lack of reliable records. At some point the available data runs out so to speak. The available meteorological records we have are a tiny particle of dust in the grand scheme of things.
