Crazy haze this morning from the smoke. The morning sun looked like a peach.

2002 summer was even worse gentlemen. I was in my early 40's. Streams went completely dry. 1999 was also a diminishing year of a La Nina pattern. But there is hope. In the winter of 2003 we had a wonderful snowy winter after the drought. see link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_blizzard_of_2003
2022 I remember it was hot from April to almost end of September. Days were brutal.

Played two softball games over the weekend it was like playing in a desert.
Mowed the grass after 10 days and was basicaly the same. Looks like about the 10th-12th for the next legit shot at some rain here. Yikes.

I bought one in the 1990s to watch Tyson/PPV/pay channels...super shady outfit, think it was $400. It came in a Ham box (Hatfield?) to not give away the illegal stuff they were sending. Funny times...
I had a descrambler box. Paid $300 for it. Figured thats about 6-7 PPV's and it was paid off. Had two "Filters" to get Showtime, and Cinimax. Once everything went digital about 2002 that was all she wrote for that stuff.

Think it was 1981 for me? (Comcast) "Stripes" and "Airplane? were on "Showtime" and "Prism"..."looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.
We had Prism to watch the Phillies, Sixers and Flyers. My one buddy had HBO and we would wach all the "premier" movies at his house.

Looking like a super soaker event Beginning Thursday.
*sigh* We usually spend the weekend camping for the race in Dover. We cancelled this year after looking at the forecast. Was not looking forward to rain, wind and 50 degrees for 4 days straight.

I'm sure we'll have another cold shot, but for some there's the real possibility this was it. The last dip into the 30s until October/November.
Dover race weekend is coming so expect 50 and rain that weekend.

Meh. I 'm still going with a repeat of last year. We'll be lucky to get one SECS storm.
Apps runners will give the area a Couple of nickel and dime messes in January/February and that's about it.
Nailed it...
Should've put money on the Eagles/Chiefs Superbowl too.

Stated and summed up with all of these models in the last two days in these three simple words we all come to know "HIGH BUST POTENTIAL" This has been on-going this entire season. I expect nothing less at this point since consistency for each model run between 3-5 days has been an utter joke. Well lets see the 18z model run will show a huge strung out mess and we all get rain or zilcho as the 0z runs will clearly depict a tight wound up series of lows near the sweet spot with 2 ft snow accumulations. Place your bets. ITs like playing the roulette wheel.
Another word missing from this year in our vocabulary- "OVERPERFORMER" LOL as the models are simple ball paddles right now.as in this clip
"Here give these out to the boys at the NWS in lieu of pay.."
