That's a really nice looking cell near West Chester. Even has somewhat of the classic supercell shape on radar. It's headed right towards me, ETA just over an hour...might go and chase it if it perks up again.
Missed us to the west. Looked good from afar though

Nothing on our plate but drizzle and fat in West Chester.
Was supposed to golf today. Could have played. Glad we didn't though. Rescheduled for next week.

Euro wants to rain for days and GFS says Nope.

When the mulch pile serves 35000+ residents and takes out a fire company for a few days, yes it is a mafor fire issue for a volunteer fire company and the municipality
I can back him on this as a firefighter. While maybe not a "major" fire. It is quite a nuisance and a burden on the volunteers who have to sacrifice their day just to babysit it and keep dumping water on it.

Personally, would prefer a miserable 50 degree day with an inch plus of rain spread out over a 24-48 hr period than last night. I just had my yard arreated and overseeded which now probably all washed out after last night.

Haven't seen it yet (5 minutes away) but some Einstein though this would deter speeding. If anything it would promote drunk driving because you would be swerving anyways. Oh yeah, great traffic pattern when the roads are slick....
..and the Public Works Dept gets lambasted for it cause the Supervisors told them to do it.

Looks like the Euro is winning the warmer temperature battle next week.
-
In other words. Enjoy your 45-50 degree raw and rainy next two weeks.

We all knew that wasn't the case when the February 20 snowstorm fell apart. That pretty much marked the end of winter.
The Euro at 330 Hrs out seems to think otherwise.. LOL

Oh dang we lost both snow events. Back in your pod Ralph.
I was told it was a backloaded winter?

They really knocked off the rain totals for Sunday/Monday. Looking like less of an inch now.

18z GFS doubles down. MECS for the LV/Poconos with warning level snow down to I-95. No support whatsoever from any other model.
Watch the GFS be the Boy who cried "Wolf" with this storm. lol
In all seriousness. Till the other models catch on, no one is buying this.

Sorry I couldn't bring back any of the upper 70's weather from Vegas last week. Staring at 27 and wind is not fun this first week of March.

It’s just banter, but I wanted a laugh from it. Like a weenie I’m reading long range thread in the MA forum getting my hopes up for feb28 to mar 2 period.
Only to have them crushed
I am flying home on the 28th so yeah it's a lock. Philly in the bullseye.

Like a clown watching to see if that Day 9-10 storm is going to make it 3 consecutive runs on the GFS
While the Euro has squat.

Pretty good cell or two in York which may slide east in the next 90 minutes.
On a side note. Can it not rain for the 20th weekend in a row? Ugh.
