  1. Same here, I have a 10x25 patch I planted a couple weeks ago that is coming along, each drop counts at this stage.
  2. Got all the yard work done this afternoon!
  3. 29.7 for a low here, no record, that is 26 degrees from 1982. The 47.8 high was also not a record 'cool max', as both 1984 (42) and 1986 (46) still hold. A few cirrus in the sky showing a little warmth returning upstairs leading to a warmer day today. Yesterday had several rounds of graupel and mixed rain and graupel showers between noon and 6 pm here.
  4. Nope, I am NOT a good 'presenter/crowd type person', I'd need that to get thru likely! Good luck!
  5. Interesting, about a two-three minute graupel shower at 44 degrees here about 10 minutes ago...
  6. Currently 32.8 here, low was 31.0, not as cold as was forecast. I think the winds had a bit to do with that, but they definitely make it feel chilly! Had about an hour of flurries here around 9 pm.
  7. Either, but I'll lean Mex if you are taking votes lol.
  8. I haven't said a whole lot, but maybe a few noticed I was gone for stretches of time over the past year..... Anyway. I met someone online back in a chat room (for trains) late Feb last year, she lives in SoCal. So, yes, I HAVE traveled a LOT these past 15 months or so, probably 12-14 times. I've flown into SNA, LAX, SEA (first meeting, her sister lives there and she wanted an 'escape' in case I wasn't who I said I was lol) and we've met in STL and DEN a few times, plus seen my son there too. I learned that it is WELL worth the extra 40-60 bucks to fly Delta, they DON"T pack you like cattle and I've only had one cancel/reschedule with them. I started with United, they changed my flight EVERY time and 'packed the bus' each time. I flew with them this last time on short notice and they did it again, so there IS a pattern, just an FYI for those flying. And so I can officially announce that after almost 8 years after my wife passed, I am getting married again in October. Never thought I would be saying that, but she is an awesome person and we are a perfect match, strange how that happens when you aren't even trying to look. She is moving here, likes the slower pace and her company is letting her work from here the last few years she wants to stay. I guess we can call this an announcement, lol.
  9. 40.1 for a low here, wind cranked overnight, had a 33 gust just after 1 am from WNW.
  10. Rain and 57.7 degrees here now. Started around 4:30, before it began we made a run for 70 but just missed at 68.9 degrees.
  11. Understand, that part makes sense.
  12. Cloudy and 52 here currently at 11:30. Might have a 'below' day, but doubt it. Except for the first 3 days of the month, we've been running above to much above area wide. Surprised at some of the 'cool' comments as we are running 2.5 - 4.0 degrees above normal for the month area wide! Easy people, it'll be 207ish soon enough.
  13. I got the Pfizer one, first round from elbow to shoulder for about half a day. The second maybe right around the actual shot area for 2 hours. Had a headache for a few hours one the first one too, second nada.
  14. Quick gusty shower thru here about an hour ago, 28 mph gust and just enough rain to hit 0.01 in the gauge.
  15. Grilled a couple T-bones, home fries and peas for dinner and to take to work next couple nights.
  16. Crushed a new daily rainfall record with 2.38 inches, old mark was 0.92 from 2003. Water running and standing everywhere. Already past normal monthly total on the 11th day of month......3.65 vs 3.64.
  17. LOL, I cheated. Pulled a pepperoni Digiornos out of the freezer and doctored it up with more pepperonis, some black olives, peperoncini rings and more mozzarella cheese. About to come out the oven in 2 minutes.
  18. The rain has returned. Least it stayed cloudy after the fog burned off and stayed in the low 60's ( AKA NORMAL) for the day. Got a lot of outside work done until the rain ran me in at 5 pm.
  19. We'll be LUCKY if it is only that warm in May, more likely high 80's and humid.
  20. Storms firing up again here
  21. Have you gotten both shots??
  22. You ain't got no iiiiceeee creeeeam!
