  1. Finished up with .57" with that storm cell. Ill gladly take it. 2.10" MTD 18.08" YTD
  2. All I can say is Thank you to Mother Nature for popping a cell over me here. After a high of 94 we have dropped to 73 with the rainfall. Sitting at .54" of rain as it looks to be ending shortly. LAwn and garden is thankful. plus wash out any pollen in the air thats still around.
  3. Ugh the humidity has arrived. Dews in the upper 60s. Eff this
  4. Hit 85 for a high after a morning low of 53* Dews are around 51* so not too bad as of now
  5. We picked up .06" here yesterday but nothing yet today
  6. Wes just said on CBS 17 this has been the driest March, April and so far in May in the record list.
  7. You are def warmer there. It is only 66/58 here and overcast. Im fine with it knowing whats coming down the pike. Maybe it will go away like the cold air did all winter long lol

  9. Is anyone else having trouble with the NWS website. Nothing seems to be working when clicking on a location
  10. Damn Tornado warning for parts of Orange, Alamance and Chatham counties. These storms are pretty strong
  11. I would say it is unusual unless you are elevations like Clingmans Dome or Mt Leconte. But early in May it is possible at some of the lower (5500') elevations like today.

  14. In the right move and not too surprising, Don Schwenneker is named the new Chief meteorologist at WTVD here in the triangle. Congrats to Big Weather.   15. 2nd batch pretty much died out. Picked up a little more rain though Today was .32" 16,63" YTD 88 for the high today and 64 for the low
  16. A quick hitter with the first line today. Picked up .20" Waiting for the second batch to my west

  18. Well that was uneventful for here. Just a period of heavy rain for a short time. For the day we got .33" better than nothing. Now for another extended period of dryness

  20. Too warm for me, its 82* here now with a 60 DP. I know its not humid but damn it still feels hot out there. I need 60s for highs
