  1. Being disabled, I don't mind living in a place that doesn't keep snowcover very long.
  2. So Spring begins on 3/1 and it's time to break out the shorts, flip flops and sunscreen. March 2013 disagrees.
  3. I remember time's in the past driving from Coventry to skiing in S. Vermont, were there was little to no snow from Enfield to Northampton. Then increasing snowcover to near the Vermont border with Massachusetts.
  4. Good call on the snow, 2" this morning. For once snow growth didn't suck here.
  5. 2" today and 1/2" beforehand makes 20" for the season.
  6. Somewhere between 1-2" of snow here and very light snow. 26F.
  7. 1" of snow here and moderate snowfall. More importantly the snowflakes are of a nice quality. 27F.
  8. Please stop, President's Week coming up and nobody wants warm cutters and rain. Big money making Week for Winter weather enthusiasts.
  9. 35/24 here. NWS has 1.5", Crapuweather has 1", WU has 1/2" of an inch of snow. Expecting a coating to 1" here.
  10. The largest snowfall here was 7" of sand from the blizzard. I'm at 18" for the season.
  11. First night this year without the heat on upstairs. Currently 46F outside.
  12. For me I worry about the Polar Bear and the effects of Global warming in there habit. Supposedly there are lots of starving bears in October before the Sea ice re-freezes and they can hunt again. I've heard some of the bears are learning how to hunt on land during the Summer.
  13. I'm seeing how cold I can tolerate the downstairs in my dad's house. Currently it's at 63F, had it at 60F but that was too cold. Nobody lives downstairs and I have electric heat upstairs. I went through 200 gallons of oil since October 1st. At $3.89 a gallon, buying oil is $$$$$$.
  14. Fog, rain and cold. Just above freezing at 32.5F. Some snow from this morning is still here.
  15. Really odd forecast for Enfield. Snow tomorrow morning until noon, freezing rain until 4pm, then rain tomorrow night until 1am, then snow. Also little or no snow accumulation.
