  1. This storm potential reminds me alot of the Blizzard of 1996. Very cold with that storm. I was skiing at Sugarloaf Maine and it was well below zero during the daytime before the storm came up the coast. No snow fell in Northern New England. My parents house had 25" of snow in Northern Queens NYC with huge drifts. Feather light fluffy snow.
  2. It snowed here until roughly 5am. Total snowfall is 3" mostly on non pavement.
  3. The heavy wet snow yesterday was a treat. Huge flakes and snow-covered pavement just past noon.
  4. Forecast phail here. Maybe 1" today if that. At least the 3.5" from yesterday looks pretty.
  5. 3.25" here. Clearing skies and 32F. High temperature was 33F. No change to rain.
  6. About 3" here with heavy snow and 32F. Heaviest snow since December 2nd.
  7. Definitely overperforming here moderate to heavy snow and 32F. Accumulating on pavement. Nice to have snow-cover again.
  8. Heavy wet snow and 32F. Accumulating on all surfaces except pavement. Looks close to 2"
  9. Snow and 28F. Accumulating on all surfaces. Nice to see snow again. Last snow was January 4th.
  10. Did my first day of this season at Ski Sundown yesterday. Overall a great day with packed powder conditions. Did 6 runs.
  11. During the ice storm of 1998 the power lines were on the ground between poles, but not broken along the access road to Sugarloaf. Never seen anything like that. We had a mixture of sleet and freezing rain. About 6" of sleet one the lower 2/3 of Sugarloaf. Never lost power. But Sugarloaf was closed.
  12. 33F here with fog and rain. The snow-cover survived the night. Went above freezing at 5am.
  13. 32F at 1am. Still ice covered trees. Forecast to be 33F at 2am. On December 2nd 2025. It stayed below freezing.
  14. 32F here past midnight with freezing rain. Snowpack is ice covered.
  15. 7F right now. A few degrees colder away from the Connecticut River on WU. I'm next to the river.
  16. 7F here. On December 2nd it didn't get above freezing. Feezing rain for a few hours.
  17. 8F here. I wonder if the cold air gets trapped like December 2nd. It never got above freezing.
