even in hot august we had a 6 day stretch of delightful weather with low humidity felt great.. september will even be better...

today will end the second peak of summer as nicer dryer air comes in starting tomorrow ,for a few days..

i like climate change in the winter it keeps winters from being brutally cold as it was when i was a kid..

normal high for nyc on sept 10 is 78 degrees so this map will translate to a high between 81-82...

normal high at the end of august is 81 for the city so temps in the mid 80's at the end of august is not exactly heatwave material..

it will feel might chilly by tomorrow morning even in the city...when i go out in the morning tomorrow i will be wearing a jacket.. been about 6 weeks..

normal high for nyc on august 27 is 82 still won't reach 90..

even if we somehow did it 90 no comparison to yesterday with temps high 90's to low 100's in some places and dewpoints over 70.. it is a different feel today...

the heat we just endured fro days will not be coming back i do not think until next year...fingers crossed that is what real summer means...
