For guys moving and leaving an epic stretch behind——I moved from Boston to Los Angeles in November of 1976. Missed all the goodies of the late 70s.

I hiked up to the lonesome lake hut about 18 years ago and hiked around those ridges for a few days with friends. Really nice spot and very near you.
