By the 1980s I was long gone which I’m sure colors my views. If I were 20 years younger I’m sure I’d have a different perspective.

That was so perfectly timed! I had a flight to FL that I was able to move back so I could experience a morning several hours of good snow that day.

I don’t think that’s true at all! Growing up, 30 year normal snow was 30ish at NYC and it’s nearly 20% less now I think.

All true. But I have to admit we’ve enjoyed the empty nest knowing home is always here for our baby. Looking forward to seeing her in a few weeks!

27 was my low. Extremely busy week-major conference in Boston and I’m still involved with the organization. So through Thursday it was the equivalent of full time work. On top of that I gave the keynote at a sub organization that I’m a founding member at. Long lunch yesterday with 2 friends and private dinner with a friend and his wife tonight. Then it’s over. The weather was cool but boring is good in that situation. I have no idea how I ever worked full time-I’m exhausted-lol.

January 2015 actually got cold by mid month. The snow waited till the last week though.

31 for my low. Woke up too late for frost.

Every part of me says no. One-I’d rather snow and that is lost. Two-who wants to lose power for days or longer? I can tolerate sleet but it’s a killer to remove more than a small amount. Bring me snow.

It’s one thing to correctly assert the acceleration of climate change. It’s another to incorrectly infer we haven’t had autumns like this before. That’s utter bullshit and hyperbole which reduces one’s credibility.
