First time I've seen no shutout solutions DC northward. Very good run. I think we're getting close to locking in a CAD thump and not seeing much support if any to keep the primary from staying south of us. Still time to shift but with gun to head I'd say the chances of that are pretty low.

Yeah starting to look good for DC North crew....us DC South crew know the drill well. Hope for the best and prepare for rain or slop. A couple inches that isn't immediately washed away would be a nice stat padder

Horrible day down here. Not sure why this one hurt so much. Probably because it's snowing to the north, south, and east. It made it south enough, but mountains ate it for my area.

It's not snowing over here in EZF either, so you're not alone.....

Nice dendrites with the green band. Might end up pulling off 1.5-2". A very enjoyable a scenic event in progress.

The ole #bootlegtoclimo in process, good stuff. Down here, we've had a few stray flakes, but that was expected, enjoy the snow!

  4. Up to 0.4” in Stafford off Route 17, amazing I was in downtown FXBG and nothing was accumulating and I get home and it’s a winter wonderland. 5 miles and about 330 feet of elevation really helps.

32 with moderate snow and a decent looking band to my west!

Fv3 another good run. It's running a lot colder that its brother from what i can tell on ncep. Makes me not trust either.

Seems like temperature before the front, or how quickly heavy precipitation can cool boundary layer will be the real wild card. Not sure which way to lean, it may be different for all parts of our forum in terms of temps

QPF bleeding to the east has halted for the time being... now I just need it to go back west a few hundred miles.

It’s interesting that EZF is around 0.5” of on  latest GFS and the 12z Euro, yet some how CHO is around 0.15” or 0.2” big difference over short area. I’m just not sure the temps will cooperate as much down here around FXBG to present more than maybe 1 inch. Hopefully I’m wrong

I've got .5" down in Charlottesville, which is pretty much the south, and I've got the best returns in the area right now. Might make a run at 1".

Got 0.5” over in Stafford too, may make a run at 1” as well. Not sure what just happens in the thread, but Radar looks great between Fredericksburg and Charlottesville.

The greens in between the yellows in moco are still mod snow just with smaller flakes. I'm over 8" now and 9" is becoming more likely every time i look at radar.

We finally switched over to Snow here in Southern Stafford and the radar looks good enough to me for the moment around EZF. My sister in MoCo said snowing Heavily up that way! Enjoy!
