  1. I only got a little more than you. I think the real screwjob was the fall line. Your analysis makes sense, though...seems like the boundary was a little further nw and maybe why some of those heavier bands along 95 shifted more towards 70.
  2. This low key helps my snowfall forecast...leaves me a little wiggle room lol.
  3. Reports of 3" in downtown Frederick and 4.6" up the street from me a couple miles. Makes sense. I probably got 3.5-4". This one kinda made up for the January 6 situation.
  4. Snowfall reports: https://www.weather.gov/lwx/pnsmap?type=snow
  5. Ok, got my snow fix (and probably posted too much lol...that's a wip). Time for some literal snow tv and football.
  6. Still getting lingering bands moving through here that change it from light to steady. Surprised by the snowfall totals closer to the fall line. Models definitely busted on that. Matches the totals I measured. Might have a "snowboard" 4" around here when all is said and done.
  7. Done with the walks for now. Nice storm given the temps leading in. A little less snow than I had hoped (3” as opposed to 5), but prob heavier rates at its peak than I expected. Grade: B+ (still lingering light snow around)
  8. Picked up here again during what looks like the 2nd to last noteworthy band. Gonna investigate and measure.
  9. We're pretty good at storms that slide south of us. It's just been rare the last few years.
  10. Looks like around 0.2-0.3" qpf remaining in Central MD based off the 18z nam. initializes at 1pm, so may need to subtract a bit.
  11. Definitely a snowball making snow. Very much rate dependent. Luckily we’ve had that here for the most part. Just measured 1.5”.
  12. About an inch on the dot here. Measured in a few spots. .
  13. You got that right. We're gonna get to 2-4" easily, no question about that.
  14. Heaviest rates since I've moved to Frederick. Absolute snow globe and sticking to every surface.
  15. Snow has picked up again here. ~3 miles nw of downtown Frederick and ~4.5 miles se of three saws trailhead (base of the Watershed).
  16. I'm actually surprised that Ashburn isn't snow rn. Gonna changover soon, but yea, not the best start to this system.
  17. Pixie dust here, but better rates incoming. Very foggy looking south and west.
  18. Gonna be a crush job for a couple hours this afternoon. 2-4" still looks good for the fall line north and west, imo...in that order of depth.
  19. I'm in Walnut Ridge next to Whittier...can basically walk to Detrick.
  20. Satellite loop looks aggressive. Think things are really gonna rip near that 95 corridor. Gonna be a snowy scene this afternoon...with football. Lots of winning right now.
  21. Mostly, if not all snow here now. Steady rate with some grass stickage. Not a car topper yet.
