Don't worry, our summers are now July-October :).
I could really use a nice stretch of sunny days. Constant threat of clouds/rain is getting old. My girls are trying to get in their championship game but the weather isn't cooperating.
lol, there does seem to be a subtle shift in the seasons the last few years. I could use some Vitamin D even if it comes along with 90 degree weather. I think the trails could use a breather as well.

I almost bet on Indiana in 6. Starting to think that not doing so was wise.

Well get plenty of it starting tomorrow afternoon. Soon, people will beg for a cool, cloudy day.
Not me. At this point, I’m just hoping for 2 months of summer. -
I miss the sun
This is an objectively horrendous weather pattern for mid-June.-

Parr's Ridge is a force. It could be dry on my commute to Columbia and then a sprinklefest as I pass Mt. Airy.

Radar around dc looks prime. Frederick? I will accept the light rain showers and look forward to the warm front lifting north.

When does summer start?

*Northern Lowlands
Sun popping out here and windows are fogging up. Tropical out there.
Got a little warmer here than I expected. Sun has finally made its appearance, though certainly not a blue sky kinda day. The lower visibilities are apparent when looking south towards Sugarloaf (which I can hardly see) and w/nw to the Catoctin's.

Looks like Frederick about to finally get in on this.
Getting clipped here. Looks like it’s hitting the Catoctin wall -
Turned into a gorgeous day. The haze has really thinned out this afternoon. Summer is the goat.

Fairly decent blue skies in downtown Baltimore looking west at the moment. Not all that smoke hazy yet over this way to my eye anyway.
It's not too bad, but definitely doesn't look like the HHH type of hazy.

When Mr. J and I first moved to LA back in ’99 we were introduced to June gloom. Was quite the experience for us after hearing from our friends it was always sunny.
Meanwhile, looks like the "haze" today is from more wildfire smoke. It's just getting ridiculous at this point.

The 270 split precip magnet is at it again.

These cells have been doing the ol' Catoctin skip. Not much rain imby the last couple days...I might be a bit too close to the mini rain shadow. Next few days are looking summer'y.

Have a nice cell that started just to my immediate SW. Had some lightning with it at first now just heavy rains right over me.
ETA getting some nice fireworks again.
Hearing the thunder from that, but so far it's sliding to my SE.

Today has better storm vibes, at least hit/miss. Sun, calm wind (I'll confirm during lunch), and humid. We have a decent track record with those variables.
Jk, unless I wasn’t.-

I want what's outside for 8 months out of the year with 1 month of fall, 2 months of winter, and 1 month of spring.

Unexpected thunder.

Another batch moving through the swamps of Frederick. Might reach 0.5" for the day in my neck of the woods.

Was hoping the warm front would push a little further north, but seems like it's hit a wall. Not expecting much up here with the current temps and cloud cover except periods of showers.

The current drought monitor illustrates one of the greatest comebacks in mid-Atlantic history.

I can sense the warm front is closer than yesterday but we are experts at cad, so it may take some time to erode. Hopefully by mid afternoon there’ll be peaks of sun up this way.
