Models have What an evolution built up this -AO in the last 1-2 days

Storm systems and stuff. Let's talk about geoengineering, Space, and local/historical impact.
-
Hawaii threats used to be more rare?
-
New models showing more arctic ridging.

There was never really energy fo worldwide stormsystems in my life - it always underperformed. in the 1990s, there was some good NW-SE moving systems "Clippers" that made snowfall more exciting. I did research once and found that on time dates - 11-11,11 for example, in Las Vegas, or Los Angelos, or New York City, there was 500mb anomalies, and these happened mostly in the 2010s and 1950s.

Clear skies to the south and west.
-
The weather here is unbelievable, widespread drought coming.
-
Arctic ice melt has me concerned, unless we have some sort of consciousness awakening it's probably going to be an anti-climatic Winter.

The eastern subsurface stuff may only be a glitch.. models going la nina not right imo.
-
The atmosphere is still very much Nino, although -AAM 500mb is somewhat appearing. You have to wonder how many "parallel realities" of enso there have been since the Winter lol.

It rained a little here, now there are clear skies. Will have to start counting the times it rains,: 1.

Good point about the rain, what should we do about a large scale nation/world wide drought?

Slight risk for thunderstorms today.. NYC to DC looks like the opposite of what I'm experiencing fwiw

whoa.. on the 18z GFS ensembles, look at the ridge just south of AK over sea then moves into western arctic circle north of alaska. more arctic ice melt/developing drought.

Just wait until the geoengineering comes online.
I guess we should level up
The SanFran rain anomaly is major, and all these maps are online

I love the enterance into long wavelength season! Some really interesting things coming up, a major -NAO and big arctic storm now developing north of Alaska while Europe and Russia are super cold. Followed by widespread -NAO lol

Times are changing for the better weather wise

I am hopeful that this -AO pattern is "the bottom", but it's not a thunderstorm pattern.
