    Fairly heavy snow here just north of Boston. Still only about .5" on the cars.

    FWIW Harvey is the most bullish. 2-4" region wide most others 1-3 or c-1 for my area.

    Harvey believes in the warm tongue... says Logan might be 2" but Cambridge could be 4". He brings the 4-6" line just outside metro Boston.

    Yeah I know I seem to be obsessing over this but when what they say doesn't match what is on screen it leads to confusion for the general public.

    Yeah they all seem to be gung ho to bring in the sleet by 7pm. The maps all indicate no change until 10 or after so they clearly don't believe what they are putting on the air.

    Ch4 says sleet to Boston by 7 or 8pm. Then post a map showing no sleet until 11pm? So I guess that's how we get 1 to 3". Channel 5 says 2-4". Seems like they don't believe their own maps.

    Boston tv Mets saying we're getting a good thump for several hours. Then post a map of Boston getting 3". 1/2" per hour?
