    Most stations here are 45+ now. This will need to rip to accumulate on pavement here.

    Some tv mets have upped boston to 2-4 but most are still playing conservative and following nws as of now. I do see some issues with accumulations on the coastal roadways. That east wind I don't think will be denied and the airmass still basically sucks so on pavement more than 2" might be tough inside of about 5-7 miles of the coast.

    This is before the Euro but the marine influence is strong in this one..

    FWIW Fox Boston went up from 1-3 to 3-6 for the Boston already.

    The guy on NBC10 (not Bouchard) mentioned the seasonal trend and the ocean temps as reasons for conservative forecast for the coastal area. Everyone has also mentioned that it is early and all this could change..

    I would have felt better about this one if Friday was say 35 for forecast high instead of low 40's. Or if it looked like a stall...

    Would help those of us on CP for Friday to not have highs in the mid 40's. Seems very narrow time frame for accumulating snow otherwise.

    I don't know but it will matter the most on pavement, grass will still accumulate at marginal temps. This could be why so few metro schools have called as.of now. They still have time to see what's on the ground early AM.

    I don't know what model the locals are using but they are showing temps around Boston as being 32-36 for much of tomorrow.

    Hopefully the schools call it tonight and at least get that traffic off the roads.

    Euro looks unimpressive. About 2" in Boston and along the coast fwiw.

    Also anything that has salt residue on it is almost uncovered.
