  1. I have 4.26 in. Of rain for June so far. With most coming after the 10th of this month. My garden has plenty of moisture now with the rainfall and the irrigation that was done before the tenth
  2. I'm wondering if the sun will come out today. overcast here.
  3. Had thunderstorm @2am that dumped .30 very quickly.
  4. Just taking notice that the clouds are moving all different directions this morning.
  5. I live about 20 miles or so from Sunbury all I got yesterday was a few drops.
  6. Sun is out, didn't take long to get hot with a dp of 69.1.
  7. Sun peeping through the clouds and a little breeze. I don't know if thats a good thing. Was hoping to mow some grass today.
  8. Yes, all the water level has to do is rise 3 ft and the cart that the pump is on the wheels would be in the water. Plus where the pump is located it is besides the rapids. It wouldn't be fun trying to get it out after dark.Better to be safe then sorry.
  9. Up to 1.09 rain today. Got soaked twice while removing pump from creek bank.
  10. Shame not everyone is getting this rain. Maybe yours and everyone else's is coming later today. No watering the garden this week. Now I just hope our area don't get too much of a good thing in a short amount of time. I'm gonna keep an eye on the creek I might have to pull the pump away from the creek, as this creek responds to heavy rainfall fairly quickly.
  11. picked up .71 from the shower that just went through and 1.19 so far this week.
  12. I was gonna say what happened to the rain overnight...but its here now and coming down good. So far have .12 in less then half hour.
  13. .44 rain from the first batch today. No wind here.
  14. I guess he's our go to guy on college and pro football this coming fall season. Nice to get a heads-up before the season starts. I wonder if he will reveal the conference champions of each conference in college football before the season starts?
  15. NWS mentions this so where ever there is training this could happen once we get into a soupier humid airmass: Expect several rounds of rain and drizzle with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms Saturday and Sunday afternoon that could lead to minor flooding of poor drainage areas and a few small streams in some locations, mainly over the Southern and Eastern portions of the state.
  16. Haven't we seen this scenario before, not that long ago. A few years ago. That time they had some bad flooding in the summer. I remember Eastern Dauphin County, parts of Lebanon and Schuylkill County. If I remember right it was from training thunderstorms.
  17. As long as we don't get downpours training over the same area for a few hours...we should be fine. But I think some place will.
  18. The carpet and tile guys aren't really enthused over the upcoming rain. Half inch average till end of week.
  19. Yes if it's spread out over a course of days. But if some areas get training of heavy showers or thunderstorms then it's a different ballgame. Trying to stay optimistic at this point. It's my garden that worries me. The Mahantango Creek has to reach 6 ft and the risk of my garden going underwater increases dramatically.
