  1. ABC-27 Did not waiver on their amounts from last night. Which is unusual. Usually their the ones downplaying Snowfall amounts.
  2. I think I read somewhere he was employed by the NWS at one time many years ago. I could be wrong though. Q: You run the weather forecasting service WXRisk, and we’ve heard from people who swear by your forecasts, people who sing your praises. So what’s your story? How did you get here? And what’s your secret to predicting the future? Tolleris: Yeah, well, I’ve been here since the 1994, 1995. I originally came down to join the National Weather Service in Wakefield and it turned out that I’m not a big government type of person. https://www.chesterfieldobserver.com/articles/five-minutes-with-dave-tolleris/
  3. I was referring to secondary and main state owned (PENDOT) roads up here.
  4. Yea they will plow that little bit off the roads up here too, but when there's 3in or more of snow on the road the plows are nowhere to be seen
  5. Seen NWS is going for 3-7 inches on Wednesday. Wednesday Snow before 4pm, then rain and snow. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 36. Light east wind becoming southeast 13 to 18 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.
  6. 32 here. Have about and inch of snow in the grass, big quarter size flakes falling.
  7. Interesting from JB: with the pattern evolving we could be in the battle zone with artic air in the vicinity and the southeast ridge flexing its muscle in the coming weeks. So maybe fun times await.
  8. One thing I noticed it did not get as warm as NWS had forecasted 41 was forecasted only made it to 38.
  9. I am impressed with my WS-5000 weather station data and performance so far. 10. Theres still time for a comeback, but it is soon gonna be the fourth quarter But I don't think even Tom Brady could muster a comeback.

  12. Maybe we could be in for a surprise, but given the trend this winter idk.
  13. I understand words can play a big part in peoples decisions based on a forecast. I don't know if I would wanna be a forecaster and issue a forecast. I'd get ridiculed either way on how or how not the forecast turned out.
  14. Nws wants nothing to do with snow at least in the lower Susquehanna.
  15. Good Ole DT changed his tone again. Now he's calling for accumulating snow for Pa. Except the southeast portion of Pa. I didn't know he waffled so much.
  16. But NWS went with DT's call of rain now. But theres still time to get this ironed out.
  17. Got to love DT. Last night he said heavy snow was possible around the 23rd. Tonight he said rain would make up the Precipitation for the rest of January. Only northern New England would stand the chance of getting any snow.
