  1. That would be great to see the missing sections built again.
  2. 50 this morning here. JB was saying that some kind of freak event could happen next week.
  3. The dryness continues .10 rain over night. Monthly total now .59
  4. Would be nice to see a lightning show and get some rain.
  5. Wonder if this has a chance of verifying? Hazardous Weather Outlook National Weather Service State College PA 318 AM EDT Sun Apr 16 2023 PAZ004>006-010>012-017>019-024>028-033>037-041-042-045-046-049>053- 056>059-063>066-170900- Warren-McKean-Potter-Elk-Cameron-Northern Clinton-Clearfield- Northern Centre-Southern Centre-Cambria-Blair-Huntingdon-Mifflin- Juniata-Somerset-Bedford-Fulton-Franklin-Tioga-Northern Lycoming- Sullivan-Southern Clinton-Southern Lycoming-Union-Snyder-Montour- Northumberland-Columbia-Perry-Dauphin-Schuylkill-Lebanon-Cumberland- Adams-York-Lancaster- 318 AM EDT Sun Apr 16 2023 This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Pennsylvania. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight. Strong to severe thunderstorms with gusty winds are possible this evening.
  6. .003 rain today. A huge disappointment. But somehow the grass really is rapidly growing.
  7. I checked some site and there are a few reports of some seen this week in Pa. I just put my feeder out this morning.
  8. It just seemed in a matter of a day or so there were bees everywhere. Hopefully we get some rain today.
  9. Yes there are lots of bees this year, and not the good kind either.
  10. Good question. The Accu-rite and the Ambient 5000 are all within 5 ft of each other. The main sensor for the 5000 is about 9ft. above the ground in order to catch the wind better. The Accu-rite and the 2nd sensor for the 5000 are 6ft above the ground. So I'm thinking the ones 6 ft above the ground would tend to be more official. Also did I mention all are beside a mountain stream there's still water flowing but don't know how much longer, if it doesn't rain. Thoughs and criticism are welcome.
  11. Accurite high 91 Ambient 5000 89 and 2nd sensor 92
  12. 92 on the accu-rite and 90 and 92 on the Ambient Weather 5000 I have 2 temp. sensors on the Ambient.
  13. I replaced my tulips last fall. I ordered from a bulb co. in Michigan. Now that the tulips are up for a few weeks now, they aren't very tall and look stunted. I wonder if the cold weather has played havoc with them. They are smaller than usual and some have the flower not opened on them. To me they look ki da pathetic.
  14. I should be mowing but I'm taking care of my wife. She had a knee replacement on Last Wednesday. Tomorrow starts physical therapy I hr every other day for the next 3 weeks at least. Dr said she should be able to start driving again in 2 weeks. Being a care giver wears you out. And to make matters worse I'm not a person who likes to be cooped up in the house. So the outdoor work is on hold for awhile till she recovers. And goes back to work.
  15. I'm afraid of that too, and i'm probably one of them.
  16. 29 this morning! And another freeze looming tonight...not good. 17. Will we get garbage can and shingle updates also?
  18. Just looking around the outdoors this morning. All I can say is spring has taken over the last 3 days. Not feeling too confident on the fruit trees and more tender vegetation surviving the below freezing nights that are currently being forecasted.
  19. .007 rain last night I guess the thunderstorm line fell apart yet again.
