  1. Yeah the 32km. Im not worried though just like last night. The signal was there and it delivered.
  2. I wasnt impressed with the 12Z NAM but the GFS was much more robust with things this weekend. There is a strong signal there and thats all that matters currently.
  3. Yep I agree Joe. This is my number one event of the winter by far.
  4. Yeah this was more of a classic NWFS so you kind of get shadowed out that way. Its amazing the difference in trajectory makes across the county. I guarantee you will hit double digits by April.
  5. We are still getting hammered this morning. It hasn't let up at all. Roads are a mess, the winds will cut right through you. Good times!
  6. The NAM has done the best job inside 84 hours absolutely. It may be a little too over amped here and there but I think this season it has outperformed every other model so far.
  7. Did you see the graph Griteater posted during the last event? It is now 0 for 6. The GFS has actually done the best but just barely. The models have been not so good this season with snow events.
  8. Looking ahead into Tomorrow and Saturday morning there is still a strong signal for upslope snow on both the GFS and the NAM.
  9. Talk about whiteout conditions! I have neatly 3 inches of snow and we are still getting hammered with a temp of 20 degrees. We already have more snow on the ground than we did last week.
  10. It is absolutely hammering this morning. This is classic upslope snow finally!
  11. Moderate to heavy snow this morning. Hatd to tell how much because of the wind just whipping everything around but this has been our best rates of the season as Joe mentioned
  12. Rain is starting to change to snow here. Above 4500 feet the mountains are white in Haywood.
  13. The radar is actually feeling in nicely now. Its nowcast time anyways. I think we do very well. I like my call earlier.
  14. Yeah totals have been going down. I just think the models dont really handle NWFS all that well or it could just be this winter is cursed.
  15. This is interesting. Including the cities of Hartford, Cades Cove, Elkmont, and Gatlinburg 1037 AM EST Wed Feb 26 2020 ...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 7 AM EST THURSDAY... * WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches, mainly at elevations above 2500 feet, with locally higher amounts possible over the highest elevations. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph at times. * WHERE...Cocke Smoky Mountains, Blount Smoky Mountains and Sevier Smoky Mountains Counties. * WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 7 AM EST Thursday
  16. Cruso is a strange part of Haywood. Sometimes Cruso gets snow and sometimes Cruso doesn't. I don't think they do well with upslope snow though. They do better with southern storms than anything else. But I do think yall will see some snow tomorrow night and this weekend.
  17. Yes I think all will see some flake action form these events.
  18. GFS is on board with all 3 events also. So this could end up being a significant time period for us.
