The wind has really picked up this morning. 

Another cool morning with a low of 38 again. Windows are open in the house and its 59 degrees lol. Love it.

Wooo! First 30s of the season! Had a beautiful low of 38 degrees this morning! Frost will be coming soon this week!

We may see some patchy frost next Thursday morning. 

Good morning! Boy this morning was cool and crisp! Had a low of 47 degrees. I am looking forward to even cooler nights this weekend.

This would be about average for the high elevation areas for first flakes.

A beautiful sunrise yesterday morning. 

A beautiful picture perfect day today! A high of 60 degrees with overcast weather all day. Temps down into the 50s and it's beautiful! Been waiting on this for a month!

It looks like Thursday into Friday will be the transition day.

We will finally cool down to near normal this weekend but what has my eye is the following mid week when a true cold front pushed much colder air in here. We need the cooler weather and more moisture and I think we will get both.

Yeah this weather recently is ridiculous.  I still believe we are going to be warm and dry for the winter months. We are just in this pattern that I think supports that type of weather for us.

Fall will be hard to find over the next week or two. We will be above average in temps and pretty dry as well.

Yeah we had some upslope showers roll through.  Good times. 

What an amazing past couple of days! Saturday we did not get out of the 60s and Sunday we did not get out of the low 70s. Monday was also spectacular for August.  

What an absolute beautiful evening and night! Fall is in the air. Enjoy!

Yeah we had thunder and lightning for hours and hours last night. Woke up to moderate to heavy rainfall currently.  

We have had so many storms today and this evening.  Its been exciting for a change. We are also going to get a taste of fall soon.

Severe Thunderstorm watch for the area fellas. Be on the lookout.

For August this has been the perfect weather. Absolutely loving this for August weather.

A pretty balanced out day for early sun to evening rain each day this week. Again we are well above average for precipitation currently but the temps for this time of year are right at average so no complaints.
