  1. Yeah…time to move on from him IMO.
  2. That makes sense. Oddly, rolling at low speeds when the brakes are warm doesn’t cause any noise though. Either way, it’s going into the shop this week. Hopefully I caught it in time before this issue led to a bigger headache.
  3. Yes…chirping/grinding at startup when cold on slow roll. The sound goes away after 50-100 yds at speed and when the brakes are warm. I was in a Dunkins drive through line the other day and man was I embarrassed at how loud the noise was, echoing against the brick siding. FYI- 42k on these pads. Probably time to replace anyway.
  4. That was my solution to car problems back in high school. Worked like a charm most of the time. Lol Thanks everybody for your input!
  5. Those are my two guesses too. I’m no car guy either. I just know when I hear odd noises, it’s likely time for a professional. Luckily, my neighbor is a mechanic.
  6. Any car folks in here? Below is a picture of my rear passenger side rotor. On a cold start, slow roll (letting off the brakes) I hear a squeal or friction noise until the car gets going. The noise is most obvious when the brakes are cold and it’s wet/humid. Does this rotor look odd? The discoloration where the brake pad presses seems to be the cause…the other three rotors don’t have this ring.
  7. Still looking like your rocks will get covered? I feel your pain because our beach was covered with rocks for two years after the March 2018 nor’easters. Those rocks finally got covered up this summer.
  8. I’m expecting blustery showers. Waves will be big. These things generally underwhelm, so not worried much at all.
  9. The Euro would be a big deal here.
  10. Certain talk stopped and he disappeared. Was he banned?
  11. I flew AA this past week. Packed in like sardines, but at least departed and arrived on time.
  12. Beautiful view landing at Logan this morning…we definitely are lucky to live here.
  13. Nope. Tolland’s $1B in infrastructure money was only allocated to downed trees in the area.
  14. Uk sort of plateaued. Definitely not a sharp decline at all. I’d expect the same here I guess.
  15. Same. I was feeling lethargic earlier in the week. I’m traveling for work tomorrow and all of next week, so I got a test Thursday night. Luckily…negative. FWIW…I got two shots of Pfizer.
  16. I’m aware of it. That’s all. I’ll care more if cohorts of vaxxed people start dropping like flies.
  17. Here…there kind of is. No uniform restrictions here imposed by Baker. Cases rising fast but death and hospitalizations are flat. Therefore, Mass is partying like it’s 2019. You should see Gloucester and Rockport right now. Bummed I have to fly out of town on Sunday morning for work.
  18. Bingo. Not that hard to grasp. Once deaths and hospitalizations are minimal, nobody will care about case numbers.
  19. I think we can all agree that insurance companies just plain suck. Red, blue, purple, whatever your ideology.
