  1. Sorry for your loss. All of us need to practice being more empathetic.
  2. Pfft…Measly microscopic viruses. I only fear macroscopic viruses myself.
  3. Big story here is whether the Sox can get under Cole’s skin again…poor pitcher from last night’s 10th inning debacle was already sent down.
  4. Good. Play with who you have. If you can’t field a team, forfeit. Vegas will no doubt love this.
  5. What a day! Two more hours and then off until Monday. This weather really improves your outlook.
  6. Here’s the Wegman’s parking lot in Burlington on Feb 25, 2015. Man, we were spoiled that winter.
  7. I wasn’t here then, but that would be quite the experience. I’ve seen pictures from that winter. Bearskin Neck looked like a remote Alaskan village.
  8. And the season before didn’t even crack 20”.
  9. Sweet. I’m pretty sure where I live now averages slightly more than mid Cape. It’s horrid here (snowfall wise of course).
  10. Salisbury looks like a decent spot for good snows. It’s got some latitude, not so far E like Cape Ann, but far enough NE to benefit from late blooming Miller B’s. I estimate climo to be 60” or so per year.
  11. Knock on wood, my ‘18 Jeep GC has been awesome so far. I bought out the lease last year and haven’t had car payments in 14 months. Past FCA owners say to get rid of it before it hits 60k. That’s when the problems start. I’m at 40k and drive 12k a year, so I’m good for at least another 1.5-2 years hopefully.
  12. Thanks. All good points. It’s a closet designated for a stackable washer/dryer, so I assume standard specs will suffice. It’s new construction, so once I can get back in there with a tape measure, I’ll have a better idea.
  13. Stupid question, but would breakthrough infections serve to make COVID less virulent/severe? For the vaccinated, is it sort of like a booster? For the unvaccinated, they’ll at least build an immune response and in large numbers.
  14. They’ll need to slide into a closet with a 32x80 door. I see most are 27-31” wide. Height will need to be <80 I would think.
  15. For some reason, that made me laugh. I have to purchase a washer/dryer in Sept. researching decent brands now. Anyone have any recommendations? They will need to be stackable.
  16. Yikes. They’re experiencing our March 2020 right now with vaccines widely available!
  17. LOL I was thinking the same. Sky is still “white” here, despite full sun.
  18. We’ve got a big family gathering scheduled for Saturday. About half will be unvaccinated (by choice).
  19. I just need some periods of sun. The fog and drizzle can end.
  20. Tomorrow looks like a beaut. Friday and Saturday do too. I’m ready.
  21. So far, I’m still scheduled to travel for work the second week of August. I’m guessing that trip may be in jeopardy, especially with some of my coworkers strongly anti-vaccine. In the end, whatever is decided is fine by me. I do think it may be the last work trip until next spring.
  22. @WhitinsvilleWX just spit up his morning coffee. If MA communities start reimposing mask orders, Cambridge will be one of the first!
