  1. Coastal NE MA has been boned and continues to be boned. Oh well, the green lawns need some more water around here.
  2. Inland SNE peeps will like the 0z NAM for Friday. Coastal and SEMA peeps, not so much. Sorry TB13.
  3. With BOS sitting at 1” on the season, we may need to start rooting for futility. IIRC, futility was set in the 1936-1937 season with 9.6”?
  4. I lost track. We had one winter where I finished sub 20. Another sub 30. It was very localized. I (Rockport) got zilch in the 2/1/21 (?) blizzard.
  5. I think I had one normal winter up there since 17-18. Last year was a blur, but I think we came in around average.
  6. Yes…it’s working and we’re still panicking.
  7. I created the panic room for the whining posts. Let’s just move all the whining over there?
  8. Sweet. Looking forward to my 30s and rain now.
  9. Just went for a run (past sunset) in shorts and a tee. Sweating like it’s August. There is also that distinct spring smell that comes in the first warm spell at the end of March/early April. I always associate that smell with winter’s demise. Odd out there and this is just the first day of many in a row.
  10. Starting to get that rat feeling for sure now. We’ll see how Jan pans out, but I think the AEMATT crew waits until after mid month for any legitimate threats.
  11. It seems the panic is in full swing. Some are stuck in denial. Others are angry. Yet others have come to acceptance…acceptance of the unfolding ratter.
  12. Opening up our third annual panic room! Feel free to complain, whine, and lament. Reminisce about the days of yore! Just keep the main threads free of the above. If Boston can maintain with less than 5” through January, we’ll have a viable shot at futility!
  13. A few traces since the above post. 0.5" on the season and likely for December.
  14. Merry Christmas Eve and Happy Hanukkah fellas! We’ll be tracking again soon enough.
  15. Soooooo boring. Can’t wait for my warm 60 mph winds to knock out power the day before Christmas Eve. Joy.
  16. Sipping pina coladas while swinging in our banana hammocks all the way up into NNE as we ring in 2023?! 12z GFS looks quite mild.
