    We're removing two massive dead oaks in our yard this month. Gypsies got 'em. Costing a few grand to do it too with more trees to come down later.

    Ginxy…it looks like those gypsy moths did a number on your trees. Unfortunately, our trees are starting to look the same sickly way. I hope we can avoid the gypsies this year like last.

    Real interesting stuff in the sky tonight. Moving stars heading N to S, not planes. About 10. Then several more all moving in different directions. Satellites? Space junk? I’ve never seen anything like it before. Friends up in NH saw it as I was. What were these things? Moving real slowly.

    I bet this just maxes out as a few inches of glop for inland ME locations that have some elevation. It will fit the tenor of the dud of a season.
