  1. Pushing 70F Monday? Break out the shorts.
  2. We’ve done a lot of that this season.
  3. Is that rollover issue a subtle nuance in the flow that can be overcome/corrected or are we just in store for another tease?
  4. That is one massive circulation on the 12z GFS. Reminiscent of Feb 2013. (Not saying we get the same effects locally)
  5. My brother’s friends just got recalled home from studying abroad in Italy. I wonder what the schools/govt is doing to screen the influx of students coming back home early.
  6. Traveling this past weekend, I noticed more people with masks, especially at Logan. I’ll be flying to ORD next week...if the work trip doesn’t get postponed.
  7. It’s usually an interim solution too though. We’ll typically see a norlun depicted as a storm trends from OTS to a hit and vice versa. Here, trend is our friend.
  8. https://www.mattnoyes.net/new_england_weather/2011/01/exactly-what-is-a-norlun-trough-and-how-do-you-forecast-weather-associated-with-it.html
  9. Agreed. No one would seriously consider the possibility of a KU until we’re within 48 hours.
  10. I like the H5 look. Perhaps the southern stream starts moving OTS, but with some phasing, that all gets pulled back toward land. With that H5 look, it’s being pulled back to an more optimal location. Still a ways out, but I’m cautiously optimistic. I understand anyone’s pessimism rn too though.
  11. Probably the last week of tracking before Morch arrives for good. Right DIT?
  12. Poor misunderstood Ray. I got what you were saying.
  13. LR looks close to curtains. Enjoy NNE now while you can.
  14. Heck...despite the Dec snow, I’m still barely in double digit snow YTD. Sitting at a measly 17.8”. The longest stretch if you can call it that we’ve had with cover is probably the two days following the mid Jan event. Bare ground the rest of the time.
