Little on the older side..
A more potent low pressure
system appears to enter the Northeast United States on Monday
Night into Tuesday. While the timing of this system is
consistent with the extended guidance, there is still some
question in the exact track of the system. Overall, the forecast
area appears to be on the cold side of the low and will maintain
the messaging that shovelable snow is expected with this system.
As this system departs, cold air remains over the region and
lake effect snow will persist in favored areas. Temperatures
through the period will be below normal.
