The line of strong/severe storms currently down by Philly should begin to make it into the NYC metro over the next hour or so if it holds together.

Storms pretty much firing across the entire NYC metro west of the Hudson. The city and portions of LI should start to get in on some of the action soon.

The storms currently look like they are going to go just west of me. Have to see what else develops or if they expand further east. I do have thunder here though.

You are spot on. Storms continue to develop especially across western areas of the NYC Metro (NE NJ). I currently have thunder here.

The NYC metro has a much better chance of rain/storms today vesus the last two days. Tomorrow most of the region should be in for a very active day.
