Whatver gaps there were in the rain to our south looks to be filling in now. I am wondering if some places will make a 6.00" rainfall total between both storms.

It wouldn't surprise me if there are some isolated 5" rainfall amounts over the next few days beginning Friday afternoon. The long duration of the event should mitigate the flooding potential with the exception of urban and poor drainage flooding.

DT (WxRisk) was hitting the wet weather pretty hard when he posted this yesterday.

Probably a fluke run. It will most likely bring back the heavier rain amounts as the pattern late week into early next week is conducive for a prolonged period of very wet weather. We'll see.

Looks like there is the potential for more rain (some of it heavy) from late week into next weekend. Something to keep an eye on as the upcoming week progresses.
