    A week later the area received 4-8" of snow on Thanksgiving. Snow began the night before and ended Thanksgiving morning with NYC recording 4.7" of snowfall. A Crazy November, of course the winter of 89-90 was fairly snowless if I remember correctly.

    That will probably be our issue once again for the rest of the fall and winter. Hopefully it lets up at some point soon but I won't hold my breath. It has been very persistent.

    Reading another sub-forum it sounds like the coastal storm the Euro had for early next week is gone. Not sure if it is still on the EPS or if the other models that were showing it still have it. I hope this will not be another fall and winter with alot of D5+ fantasy storms.

    Believe me I am well aware of what happens when things kick off to early. Its usually the kiss of death for winter. With regard to the coastal storm showing up on some of the models, I think that is a good sign IMO. I for one do not want to see any anomalous cold and snow (especially down here) prior to the last 10 days of November.

    I am honestly encouraged we are seeing coastal storms popping up on the models already. Hopefully a good sign as we move forward thru the fall and upcoming winter months.
