    I wasn't specifically just talking about LI but more region wide. The funny thing is Upton seemed to have been highlighting Sunday as the bigger heavy rain threat day versus today reading their discussion the last couple of days. I am surprised they never issued a flood watch for their forecast area but I guess they don't feel the flooding will be widespread enough today??

    We also have to keep in mind there is "potential" for more heavy rain on Sunday which could cause even more flooding issues especially if it falls over the same areas that are getting or will get heavy rain this afternoon and evening.

    Some of this storm activity moving in from E.PA may clip portions of the NYC metro. There will be better chances for heavy rain/storms later tonight (overnight) and tomorrow.
