    It looks like some parts of the NYC metro could pick up maybe 0.50"-0.75" of rain with the line of storms coming in from the west. Nothing severe at the moment.

    It looks like we are starting to see heavier rain directly related to Elsa moving into S NJ so things should start ramping up a bit over the next couple of hours. In additional it looks like there could be a severe weather threat tomorrow afternoon/evening.

    One thing is for sure, this has been a very active summer so far for heavy rain, storms and heat. This is the kind of summer I like.

    I had 2.55" of rain from Tuesdays storms w/road flooding, so if I get the 3-5" of rain I am expecting over the next 18-24 hours I expect more flooding to occur.
