Lol. I am getting a few flakes even still from that band moving to the north of me.
I really like the long duration stuff, it's kept the snow cover looking great.
This was definitely THE most stressful storm, lol. Somehow I pulled it off in the end but I think I prefer muuuuch more the storms that are like, mega punches in the beginning.
I got 7" with compaction. 5" came today. What a heck of a 3rd day and it made the suck of the other two days WAY worth it.
Still some bands that may try to make their way here, dunno if I'll get more accumulation from it. It's melting pretty darn fast.
This band lol. It's been over me since this morning. It's literally a storm saver. I should get to 7" with it, which... is actually right within forecasts lol!
Weird. I'm actually getting some significant melting. Underneath the snow are big puddles of water. The rates are good, it's not sunny, and the temp isn't TOO high (34ish?)
It's just snowing and snowing and snowing and snowing in Germantown and I love it. I'm about to go measure, I know I'm picking up some good accumulations now.
The roads are fine as the temp is marginal and they are well salted. But the snow on snow is the best.
I've easily doubled my snow totals with this latest burst of snow. I'm probably going to break 5-6 inches total with this storm if this keeps up. I haven't been out to measure yet.
The really nice thing about this is that lot of us are going to have a nice layer of snow, then a layer of ice, then another pretty great layer of snow. This stuff should stick around for a while I hope!
Its okay. I think I picked up a half inch in it.
It's the damnedest thing. The heavy looking echoes on radar have not correspond with what I'm used to seeing under those echoes during this entire storm.
Decent little band coming through germantown. I gained another 0.5", putting me at 3.5" for the event. That's not terrible. Maybe more to come. Cross me over 4" and that would be nice.
It’s got me at 6-8 in Germantown but I’m at 3”. I think both the models and the obs did not realize how much of the precip came down as sleet and freezing rain.
