  1. i just don't know. not a fan of all that energy in the west
  2. one is much more likely than the other
  3. more progressive cutoff energy than the models that show rain
  4. it comes down to whether or not this cutoff energy gets stuck and weakens the ridge
  5. not getting a coastal climber in this pattern
  6. 2019 was several degrees cooler overall. 2007 had that insane string of upper 80s and finished around +6 for most of us
  7. remember when october 2007 felt shocking
  8. i do not see that happening with a trough in the west
  9. either trend to a rainstorm or go away thx
  10. it's because the cooler shots are narrow and get smoothed out by timing differences in the ensemble
  11. looking forward to seeing obs from our resident lowposters before they disappear again
  12. it's so hard to get a normal down that lasts more than a month
  13. maybe the nw trend can help us with this next disturbance on the front
  14. zero cold intrusions on anything for the next two weeks
  15. i like our chances wed night with deep moisture and a warm fropa
  16. people fall for that every time a changeover is looming
