Nice to see this thread in use again. Hope we don't have to wait over a month again to use it.

Densest smoke/haze I've ever seen today. Not an ounce of blue sky even with zero clouds. Also dropping surface vis to 3-4 miles.
Despite the thick smoke MLI made it to 93.

Other than a cooler day tomorrow in the 80s, looks like non-stop 90s going forward. Probably some mid-upper 90s as well next week.
Euro says it may rain next weekend.

Wow that lake def makes a huge difference. Looks like 7-8 of the next 10 days will be AOA 90 here. Rackin' em up

Have had 0.24" here since May 15th. Pretty much no rain in the last month now.

Got a drought busting 0.10" overnight. Best rain in a month so I'll take it.

Temps stayed in the upper 50s here all day long beneath a heavy overcast. I quite enjoyed it after all that heat, and of course a long/hot summer still incoming.

Well I guess thunderstorm season this year peaked in March

Models have struggled to figure out this system. Some models show little or nothing here, while a couple suggest a decent fgen band could pop over us. I hope we get something because, as you say, it's right back into the dry abyss through 7-10 days.
The 3km was showing decent rains earlier yesterday, but has since backed off. I'm going with 0.00-0.10" for here. Anything less than an inch is pretty much worthless anyway at this point. Need a good 2-3"+ soaker which obv ain't happening.

Looks like a few tenths at most tonight, and that's it for the next 10+ days. Drought ramping up quickly to be sure.

Last measurable rain here was on May 19th with 0.13". Still goose eggs for June. Hope tomorrow night gives us something.

Looks like our next disappointment comes Sunday, followed by another long stretch of nothing.
MLI managed to sneak in another 90 today. That makes 9 already for the year.

Yep. Just had another round of sprinkles. Will finish event with a T.

Had a sprinkle shower at work earlier.

The streak of 90s at MLI ends at 7, as morning/early afternoon cloud cover co ck blocked true potential. Only made 88 today.

Nice 40 degree drop overnight down to 50 early this morning. Back to 90 this afternoon.

The final day of bubbly shower action finally brought a nice cell to my yard. I got gusty wind, pea-size hail, and a quick 0.27" of rain. I'll gladly take it.
That's like winning the lottery in this shitbag pattern, congrats!

7th day in a row with 90+ at MLI. Some storms firing off to the west, but will only benefit the Iowa side. Starting to look like Albuquerque around here.

Looks like widespread mid-upper 90s later next week and beyond. Likely will top 100 here later next week/next weekend. Any rain keeps getting put off till day 10 lol.
