  1. Just a random question, how does the northern half of Florida (let’s say north of Orlando) compare to the southern part as far as severe weather frequency? Or is there no appreciable difference? thanks for any response
  2. Forgive my amateurish ob but doesn’t it seem the really high end events start a bit earlier than forecasted?
  3. Sorry and yes that’s what I was trying to say
  4. Is that 45% the highest ever tornado prob on this outlook?
  5. Has Wiz commented about the potential outbreak in the south today?
  6. It only takes one to potentially make it a terrible day
  7. I turned on 98.5 today for the first time in a year only due to the Pats free agency splurge and it was good to hear Zolak’s take on it all. I’ll never go back to WEEI however..
  8. I love severe weather and hurricanes and no doubt in my mind some deity is going to make me pay handsomely for that one day
  9. I hope something interesting happens soon otherwise it’s waiting for dying t-storms and “close but no cigar” tropical systems time
  10. Where have the severe outbreaks in the middle of the country gone this year? Seems to be very quiet. I can’t even vicariously live through those.
  11. I remember a beauty of a storm that went from rain to heavy wet snow in late March of ‘83 or ‘84 which started with a tornado outbreak in the southeast. A tree in our yard was taken out and landed on my dads car in the driveway lol
  12. It’s a shame nobody else has picked up the baton as far as that website is concerned
  13. It’s been a very quiet severe season so far in the country, no?
  14. The mayor sounded pretty po’d at the governor at any rate
  15. We got a robo call from the mayor of Braintree last night stating that as of March 1st the state isn’t providing us any more COVID vaccine and the only ones (75+) who can get it now are the ones who already had the first shot
  16. If we’re going to have an 80’s winter can’t we at least bring back all the other pop culture things that made that decade fun?
  17. After last weekend with southern areas this should be nicknamed “the apology storm”
  18. Fascinating man. Had a bad drug habit which nearly killed him
  19. I don’t think four hours of continuous severe thunder-snow is too much to ask from this
  20. Raining hard in Braintree. I just never felt this one
  21. Very unscientific but I’m getting a bad vibe for this area. It seems the big ones can’t wait to start here and today it’s been almost reluctant to get going all day
  22. Nary a flurry yet but hopefully that’ll change soon
