    It’s been a while since we have seen such a snowy look on the guidance. It’s very reminiscent of our special years in the early 2000’s. We still need to see it produce so hopefully that starts with a positive outcome Saturday night. Its very clear this pattern is going to last more then just a few days. We should cash big time at some point in the near future

    18z euro was 2-4 to sleet for nyc. It was a bit warmer with the 546 line by nyc but the initial thump was stronger

    I would think there should be more snow in your location as 850’s are below and 546 line south of you but the ptype map indicates sleet

    Even with that said, the initial thump could bring the biggest snow of the season to nyc
