We have issued a Freeze Watch for Bronx, Richmond (Staten Island), Southern Nassau, and Hudson Counties 12:00 am-8:00 am EST Tuesday November 21, 2023. The watch is in effect where temps could fall to 30-32 degrees. The growing season has not officially ended here (ends Nov 21).

Thanks. Yeah, pattern into the first week of December looks more like a Nina Dec (wintry start) then a Nino December with more of a milder start. I think eventually we get that milder look as we go into December

Looks like the cold in the east was rushed by the models. Gfs did a great job picking up on this first. Hopefully not a case of delayed and denied but I do feel the artic air will come east eventually

Yup. That was a product of the SSW which lead to the blocking for the historic March snowfalls.
