Congrats!! That's a memorable event for sure. Did the band make it down to the airport? Wondering if the Cuse just passed BUF in the seasonal snowfall totals...
No, the airport was south of the main band. I drove south on I81 to pick up my wife yesterday afternoon and once I passed route 31 (about 5 miles) it was a different world. The airport reported only 1.7 up til midnight and stands at 86.6 inches for the season.

I just measured...7.8" and 0 36" melted. We were on the fringe of the heavy stuff till the wee hours. And whatever fell during the day was blown away...I'll take it
That’s close to 20:1 stuff. BTW, how do you melt the snow in your tube quickly? I bring it in the house and let it melt slowly but that can take hours.

I just got in from cleaning my driveway and I measured 15.8 inches. For once I was in or close to the jackpot. I wonder how much Freak got just a little north and west of me.

This band refuses to quit. Over 15 continuous hours of snow!

Wow absolutely pouring again!

I will have more snow otg this week than I did all Winter long
That’s why you can never count winter out here until at least April Fools Day!

What an overachiever! Jim Teske’s forecast at 5 was for 1-3 inches overnight, we must have gotten at least 6 inches already on top of the 6 inches that fell during the day!

This band has a nice connection to Lake Huron/Georgian Bay.

That band has really organized and intensified tonight. Got to wonder if it was affected by the late February sun during the day. Also, I wonder how much more snow we could have gotten?
-
Just picked my wife up and it’s a different world south of route 31. I estimate I got close to 6 inches here today. It looks like the band is starting to head south.
-
It looks like there’s something of a heavier band from Fulton to Central Square down along the north shore of Oneida Lake.

Another squall coming through right now.

I drove my wife into work on Taft Road this morning so I’m going to pick her up around 4:30. Based on the weather here I was expecting a slow drive down 81. I just looked at the traffic cameras at the 81/481 interchange and it looks like the road is just wet. The next camera south is at the airport and it looks like the pavement might even be dry in spots. Not sure what the conditions are north of 481 to the Brewerton exit but it bugs me that there are no cameras up through the snow belt region.

WSYR-TV - Onondaga County sheriff's deputies are asking drivers to use extreme caution in parts of Northern Onondaga County.
Deputies tell NewsChannel 9 there are whiteout conditions due to high winds and blowing snow north of Route 31.
There were several vehicles off the road on Morgan Road and Verplank Road.

Meteorologist Peter Hall from Channel 3 is reporting on Facebook that an 80 mph gust was measured at Oswego!

Winds seem to be getting stronger. My house is shaking from time to time. It’s garbage day here but I’m afraid if I put my containers out they’ll end up in Bridgeport, lol.
-
Whiteout conditions here. Radar returns aren’t that impressive but believe me it’s snowing heavily and winds are easily gusting over 40.

The band has moved into Brewerton. Visibility is less than a quarter of a mile.

FV3 has nothing more than a frontal passage next weekend.
-
Looks like they briefly made it into the upper 40s at Buffalo but they’ve already had a wind shift (180 -> 240) and have dropped back to the mid 40s so I think they may have hit their high for today without reaching 50.
