I know we have fantastic snow removal operations at our upstate airports but it still amazes me they can keep the flights going in weather like this. Obviously instrument flight rules are in effect.

We may actually see a few flakes from that death band to my North, lol, as I'm tracking one last AF due to arrive tomorrow evening into Friday where we may pick up 2-3" but I definitely don't believe any model that has us getting more than 4" South of say, Central Square, as thats about where the band falls off the Lake

    Thanks a lot! ;)

Not even a flower here in Syracuse as I just came back from Rochester Phelps where it was snowing not early in fact got back to Syracuse not even a flurry . If this keeps up Syracuse is going to end the year perhaps with record low snowfall! In fact unless we have a blockbuster February and at least some snow in March I think below-normal snowfall is a lock this year

It’s snowing light to moderate here coming up on one inch. I believe Syracuse has already surpassed it’s record low snowfall.

    New map

If you ask me these maps are getting to be something of a joke. How much faith can anyone put in them when they seem to change significantly every time they’re updated. Just yesterday they had 4-6 inches for southern Oswego County which is a stone throw from where I live. Now it’s down to <1 inch. Someone would need to be constantly checking for updates to see what the latest forecast is and how many people outside of us :weenie:s do that?

That's what I was thinking a well so we'll see.  Did any of the models predict this band, if so, when does it break it up or shall I say move it to the North after the passage of the SW?

The mesos had a band just south of us at 2Z moving through here around 4Z on it’s way north. They didn’t show a fairly stationary band over us this early. B5084765-E66B-4E40-A354-8752F7986D2E.thumb.png.3341906eba7a5907402f38b7459a1e44.png
