  1. Looks like a long duration 6+ event. As I have nothing to do but get drunk/be hungover, I am going to enjoy this one
  2. About locked in on a 6-10” event for greater Chicagoland. Going to be nice
  3. Actually the NAM is really juiced for N IL. A foot down at 60 and still snowing back to kansas
  4. Really starting to get about as locked and loaded for Chicagoland as you can get at this lead time
  5. GFS leaning back towards the siggy solution. The whiplash continues.
  6. Even going back to the more "strung out" solution, we still end up with a long duration 4-6" event. Beats rain I suppose.
  7. Would be nice to see the euro carry on with another juiced storm.
  8. 18z GFS with the weenie alert siren blaring
  9. Straight pound town under the higher returns.
  10. South + Strung out has always been the play. Someday we will get a nice wound up snowstorm, someday.
  11. Yeah, already a dusting OTG in Sycamore. Should be a nice first event of the season.
  12. HRRR looks good for a few hours of rippage this afternoon
  13. Flatter and suppressed as is tradition. Enjoy the WWA criteria heavy dusting
  14. Getting excited while the models slowly come into better agreement for a sig hit, only to watch it devolve into suppressed garbage 24 hours out?
  15. Can’t wait for Jorch followed by an abnormally cold February, March, and April.
  16. Sign me up for this record. We can have the first measurable in march
  17. Anytime you have a damage based system, it’s going to be subjective and woefully inaccurate. When you can take any of histories most violent tornados and have them twist corn fields only and hit No structures, and have EF0’s, you are not actually capturing any useful information by classifying them at all.
