  1. A couple areas spinning between Rosemont and Evanston.
  2. Already received more tonight than my MTD total, which kind of insane. Looks like another good dumping is forthcoming, should push us well over an inch. Will probably be able to watch the corn grow tomorrow
  3. Storms near I39 heading towards DeKalb county look nasty.
  4. Here in the N IL donut too. Hoping we get some dumping rains tonight
  5. It’s sad when the potential for rain of any type is a top 5 warm season weather event for me
  6. .15” here. Not really going to do much, but better than a shutout
  7. Good thing that the area from mby up to yours doesn’t desperately need rain or anything like that. Otherwise another miss would be real frustrating
  8. Andyhb piping in on a thread always tends to snag my attention. I like the I-80 north area in IL for some sneaky wind potential. Areas further WNW, it’s not really a sneaky potential. Let’s hope shit stacks in our favor for once this year. I need the rain badly.
  9. 2 day rain total. T. Should change my zip code to Phoenix.
  10. Getting the outflow winds and the smell of rain as this severe warned cell misses me by 1 mile
  11. Completely browned out up here. I mowed the other days and needed a respirator between the dust and the cottonwood seeds
  12. I have a higher accumulation of cottonwood seeds than rain on the month.
  13. Raining around us today, but continuing the “nada” stretch here.
  14. I have become quite accustomed to the Cape Coral lifestyle lately. Another day of 88-90 degrees, first top popped by 9am in the pool, afternoon siesta, more floating and drinking until sunset. Going to be a real slap in the face to return to the land of dry, cloudy, cool, and boring.
  15. Or just set up in Birmingham or Tuscaloosa, and you will be fine.
  16. Actually got my first frost of this cool snap last night. Odd as my area tends to be one of the cooler areas locally.
  17. Drought talk is going to be at full volume soon for the areas north of 80 in IL. I think drought alone will be a big feedback mechanism for an above normal summer.
