Are you in the Valley? I’m north of 30, out of the valley. Just the slight increase in elevation helps out in certain events.
Kinda sorta. I'm on a ridge in the valley at ~400' ASL.

2.5 in Exton at 740.
I'm like 5 miles west of you and have maybe barely an inch.

I'm not sure why I'm not seeing that. Still have it as 5-8" here...
ISSUED: 3:17 PM MAR. 3, 2019 – NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST MONDAY... * WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 8 inches expected.

I've got a bad feeling about this. Mount Holly just upped the totals to 6-8". I just don't think it's going to verify...

Given last night's sleeting, I'm not too optimistic on Sunday night. I think we're gonna be skirting the rain/snow line again as per the globals. I also just don't see a deep enough cold pool out west to be more confident. Some areas to my north and west will certainly cash in but it's looking to me like another concrete sleet job like March 2017. Honestly I hope I'm wrong though because that stuff was a major PITA to deal with.

turned out to be kind of a dud here. Mostly sleet, and it never really got below freezing at the surface. Saw very little in the way of actual snow.
-
Heavy sleet in Thorndale.

Was drizzling but now lots of pingers.

Pleasantly surprised to find almost 3" on top of the car this morning.

Groundhog just poked his head up and almost got rolled by a trashcan. Pretty calm here overall. Periodic gust to 15-20 every 10 minutes or so.
Yup, now seeing about the same here. There's a stand of trees outside my home office window that I use to judge how windy it is.
-
Still just slightly breezy here.
-
Was expecting considerably more windiness given the "high wind warning". I guess maybe the second part might be a bit gusty, but so far this has been all hype. But who knows. Our electrical grid has been rock solid ever since I bought our generator last summer (of course), but maybe I'll actually get the chance to use it tomorrow.
-
Just kind of drizzling here now, and certainly doesn't seem to be freezing onto anything, even though wunderground says we're at 29°F. Maybe got about 3" of snow.
-
Got sent home from work early. Roads are still ok-ish. Was interesting driving home on the 30--completely clear and totally empty.

I just hope the roads don't turn to complete garbage tomorrow as I'm scheduled to work away from home (near Malvern). Sure, the drive in will be OK, buuuut....

Just started sleeting here in central Chester County. Pinging hard against the south-facing windows.

I don't know what's up with the radar this year, but it's still snowing (albeit, very lightly) here in central Chester County. Also unknown: my apartment driveway was very heavily salted earlier and easily withstood the first part of this system, but has now completely caved somehow under an additional .5" of snow at 30°F. I didn't think there was that much runoff from the first part to completely wash it all away, but what do I know lol.

You guys want to have a 2nd obs thread for this part of the storm??? Or keep it here and edit the topic?
Picked up about 0.4" of new snow since about 4 pm - still light snow, in spite of not much overhead on the radar at the moment. 31F currently.
I'm up for either, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in this. Guess we've been burned too often this winter. Thanks for asking though.

To my untrained eye, that's some impressive CAD over the Appalachians along the MD line.

Is that an RGB mousemat? Looks really cool! Just this weekend I upgraded my case that I originally built for a fully enclosed (non-windowed) ~2007 spec machine to something way more modern with a tempered glass window. So of course I had to RGB the heck out of it. One of these days I'll have to clean up my battlestation area for to take some glamour shots.
Sorry for the off topic comment, everyone. But hey, was expecting it to be way more weathery today (even WCU canceled all classes???) but it looks like everything is happening just to our south, for this first punch at least. Oh well, at least I'll be able to smoke some meats in the driveway later this afternoon.

Ok that's neat. I remember these used to happen quite a lot when I lived in Erie.

Just looks pretty hazy with a few low clouds right now. This is looking west-ish.

Hearing pingers now. Got maybe an inch of snow. Work's been cancelled for tomorrow though, so yay for that.
