  1. 35.2°F and graupel very slightly mixing in. We are two degrees cooler than what was forecast at the moment.
  2. Eh, what is to come shall be what it is. My snowblower batteries are charged, the shovel is at the ready, and I'll be spending tomorrow baking bread, puttering around in my wood shop and anticipating some pretty significant evening snow TV at least. This has been a great winter so far, so anything we get tomorrow/Monday is just icing on the cake for this season imho. I'm looking forward to seeing pics of front yards and decks and yardsticks buried feet-deep. With any luck I'll be able to add to those.
  3. Looking at Wunderground giving me 5" for tomorrow and then seeing those clown maps is giving me whiplash. Is the NAM taking into account how warm it's going to be at the start or no? (just talking about us interior people) Don't get me wrong, I'm goign to be happy if even that verifies, but still.
  4. I mean, here in Reading, I'll be happy with 3-6, honestly. This has just been so much fun to track.
  5. It's funny, but we moved to SEPA in '86 (from Erie!). I remember the '93 storm with all of the ice, and the '94 storm when I was at PSU. Then I left in '95 to join the Navy. I didn't move back to ChesCo until '09, and I moved to Berks in '20. So I'll have to take your word for it.
  6. Strong 2011 vibes from when I lived in ChesCo. I don't think we'll see the brunt of it up here in Berks, but you guys closer to I-95 may be in for a treat if this all verifies.
  7. Yup, just thought it was kinda funny. Like, why even bother. Just put 0-24" for the entire region and call it a day. "Job's done, boss"
  8. I had a similar issue recently. They do put out some pretty clown maps but I do not care for their interface at all. In other news, how's our regional rock salt situation? Both for DOT and in the hardware stores? I haven't been in a while, but they were still sold out a week or two ago near me...
  9. Yup, that was amazing. 22.5" as measured on my back deck: Not really holding out hope for this one, but you never know.
  10. The Skook out by me was ~50% frozen over yesterday when I drove down River Road north of Rt. 12. This is north of the Tulpehocken, which is fed from Blue Marsh, so I don't know if it's frozen downstream. Might have to go check it out later today. I also want to see if anybody's out at Ontelawnee ice fishing. That's something I've always wanted to do, and this weekend might be a good weekend for it.
  11. About to be dry slotted, and that's perfectly OK after today's events. It looks awesome outside. I'm sorry for anyone who has to venture out in this tonight or tomorrow though. Stay safe, everyone.
  12. Same here, temp back down to 10.2°F. It briefly touched over 11 earlier today.
  13. About to be a radar hole over me. Then more sleet.
  14. Just measured almost 2" of sleet on the front steps. Still coming down! Temp is hovering around 11°F. Winds NNW blowing 10mph, gusting to 15.
  15. All sleet now. Just cleared the driveway and sidewalk. Wow is it powdery! Temp is creeping up as well, 10.4°F.
  16. Measured 8.25" on my front step. Starting to sound a little plinky out there, and the flakes are getting larger. Maybe starting to warm up slightly, up from 9 to 9.8°F and 7.3°F DP.
  17. 7" here, still really fine and starting to blow around a bit. Still 9°F.
  18. I've always wanted to be able to use my leaf blower to move snow! Wow. I guess this is what snow in single digits looks like!
