  1. I am pretty sure he did everything possible to make it a "no win".
  2. I missed that story, got a link to it? Also hyperbole much...
  3. He gutted the infectious disease plans that previous administrations setup. He is far from blameless or just a guy who got a ton dumped on him. He did direct actions that prevented a better response.
  4. People keep calling it political football, when has the CDC or Fauci say you don't need to wear a mask? Months ago when no one knew what was up. That is like taking census data from 30 years ago and applying it to now. Just because they said one thing at the initial stages doesn't make it a political football. You still have people now saying who are doing so for political means.
  5. They are also limiting the amount of tests which is why the positive rate is still huge. I'd be careful of their numbers still.
  6. More like this isn't a political forum and the place that is has banned some here so they don't get a free ride. We don't care what your opinion is in the end because it's just that, an opinion and not fact nor law.
  7. Great question because I could easily devolve that statement he made into a political one because where the individual parties reside.
  8. Laws and state constitutions are in the favor of their ability to do so and thank god for that regardless of your opinion.
  9. They are test limited so I would be careful there, the percent of positives is still sky high.
  10. What is with continued nonsense. Even if you aren't, someone in your family can be, a friend, neighbor, coworker. No one exists in a vacuum.
  11. The 12k NAM is a bit better but I don't know if I buy the front being dragged so quickly East with no significant convection. The evolution of the model is right but I would take what happens overnight and tomorrow and drag it back West/Northwest about 100-200 miles.
  12. I don't see the 3km NAM being right at this point, so we could eliminate that one.
  13. I think the numbers across the country are proving that some restrictive shutdowns are necessary as the places that are highly populated but with a free for all are getting absolutely crushed right now.
  14. 850mb temp of 22-24 and moreso 700mb temps of 14c would cap nearly any environment though and that is what you have from SE MN down to SE NE.
  15. HRRR/12kmNAM aren't far off, all those models blowing up massive MCSs by now are definitely wrong though.
  16. Yeah I am just going on the currents comparatively. Who knows what happens tonight at this rate
  17. Of the two handling the current situation the HRRR is doing better.
  18. What else would you call your comment of wasting money on payroll, you are viewing the workers for a business as nothing more than line items to be eliminated. It is those same workers that then don't have money to buy the products. This country has gone far away from the Henry Ford models where you pay a good wage so the workers can buy the products they make or services provided.
  19. Yeah every business owner is greedy, thanks for reminding the class.
  20. Not to mention a closed business does have quite the overhead an open business has, since they aren't paying workers for the most part. And in same cases they can run with less people and make more if they are a take out/delivery service.
  21. That opportunity was there, but the current administration saw it fit for celebrities and in-laws to get the money first. Maybe you should take an issue with that.
  22. The case/ICU/death numbers are the more important numbers in my eyes, especially ICU/death. This wouldn't impact those numbers.
  23. This is what I would model those businesses on right now.
  24. True no one is going to Indiana to party
  25. Both of those capacities are way too high still, should be much less.
