All I am saying is there doesn't need to be endless small businesses and small businesses existing shouldn't stop us from saving people's lives. Those small businesses wouldn't exist if there were no consumers.

Is there a need to have millions of options when we could have 100s of thousands? Again not every small business needs to survive, yes it is unfortunate but shit happens.

$600 a week, and that is so people don't lose their god damn houses, so to call it a gift is incredibly ignorant and this is coming from someone who is employed and has been.. Would you rather have massive homelessness? Also guess what makes up the other 56%, large corporations or government workers, and neither are going away and the corporations got a bailout as well as having bigger coffers. Again the economy isn't doing bad but you start taking this stuff away and you are going to see massive failures across the board. A politician would vote for that at their own costs.

Last I checked the economy was still doing fine, funny how this bothers you, saving lives but corporate bailouts and massive tax breaks for corporations are no big deal.

Yeah we have only tested 15% of the country and of that 15%, 9% of them have been positive. All this in only 5 months. I mean can you at least attempt to realize how dangerous this is instead plunging your head into the sand 24/7.

Jack I am glad to hear you are recovering and this should be a reminder to people that it can hit close to home.

There can be a debate on the effectiveness, but at the end of the day the effectiveness is much greater than 0% and that is the part that matters.

First off when you say something isn't that dangerous after killing nearly 150k people in the matter of 5 months the rest of what you're about to say is meaningless. You can think it isn't that big of a deal but it is. And your suggestion that I am in some state of phobia because I want people to be careful is just really a bad look on your part. It is very obvious by your posts that this is nothing and at this point nothing will change your mind on it. Me and others will look back on this in history and know we did the right thing by being cautious. Also if you took the time to read my post I distinctly said that people weren't wearing masks even coming on or off a plane.

Problem is I see people going on without masks, coming off without masks, and walking around the terminal without masks. Nothing is stopping these people.

I gave a suggestion earlier of vacation closer, no reason to be flying and going down to a place where there are thousands of cases daily.

I am perfectly fine, but I work in an environment where there are thousands of strangers coming through my work every day from all over the country. So I don't think it is remotely irrational to be cautious and careful. And to also wish for less people needlessly traveling rather than people saying **** it and going on vacation all over the country. As for dangerous, how can you not think it is somewhat dangerous with the thousands of cases and thousands of people dead. At what point do some of you get it, when it directly impacts your family? Is that what it will take for you to understand the danger?

Yeah there protocols are good on paper, but there are countless pictures and videos online of the exact opposite occurring down there.

How does one social distance at Disney World. It is impossible. Plus mask wearing isn't a big thing in Florida, Texas, the Carolinas.

I'm not saying ceasing life though. But I don't see how a trip to Florida right now is remotely necessary. If you need to vacation, vacation locally, we have plenty of wonderful places here.

Do I think we should lock down, no. But do I think full planes should be flying down to places where COVID has exploded in the last few weeks, no. Those airlines already got money to last until October to begin with too, so they are actually flying at profit now, which is why they can charge next to nothing. Even then they still eliminated quite a bit of routes and anything international. I am just for the prevention of needless spread. Flying to Disney or the beaches in Florida is just needless especially as that is one of the states doing the absolute minimum while having one of the highest rates of cases. I mean if we want to be honest the entire country should have done a lock down months ago but that was never going to happen, so we have to do what we can to prevent spread needlessly until there is a vaccine.

Yeah and to me that is just insane. It is just way to spread the virus when you shouldn't be, just like Disney World being open.

People really shouldn't be flying unless it is an emergency. I work at DTW and I see tons of people vacationing coming back from places like TX/FL/CA/NV/Carolinas. There is absolutely no reason to be going to those places for vacation right now. And I partially blame the airlines for this much traveling as they have lowered their rates to get people to fly, all that does is bring out the lower income people who are going to have more of a risk to begin with.

That is how you overwhelm is a rural hospital too.
