  1. It's weird looking out of the window in the middle of January and seeing a snow covered landscape
  2. When I lived in Lake Ridge these events would drive me insane. The final straw was a driving rainstorm in Woodbridge when Leesburg reported 7" of snow...that's when I made my decision to move here in 04. My short stint in Nokesville was very similar. That said today's climate is making Leesburg pretty close to marginal now...I can see in a couple years the rain/snow lines moving further NW
  3. Let's say we get one more fluke in January and it's a uniform 3-6" snow. Ending January with 4-10" region wide for seasonal totals heading into February screams average winter if you ax me
  4. Pretty hefty batch riding the MD/PA border
  5. Richmond is going to sink me...I was banking on another southern forum dividing bomb.
  6. I like how everyone is talking about how long it will take before our potential next snow opportunity....heck we all know it will be Christmas again before you know it...dont blink folks February is tomorrow.
  7. 2.7" seems to be the closest measurement here. Might have been a little more but to stay consistent I'll go with the same NWS measurement. Fun event...I actually enjoyed getting out and driving in it at the height of the heavy snow.
  8. Some months it feels like it
  9. Nice way to end winter today
  10. I enjoyed that...snow from go and it's gorgeous out. My threshold was met no doubt but even if it wasn't this snow oasis in the middle of this winter turd is appreciated
  11. Just got home from Reston a pretty solid difference plus it was still snowing decently in leesburg. I'd say between 2-3" for sure
  12. For 2 days we talked about best rates between 2-6 lol its 2:20
  13. Never got heavy...most of the clown snow maps showed a little gap from SW of here jumping over and the maxing again around Chills house. I'm not sure what causes that but basically it light to moderate snowed here since it got going for real. Tomas Kinkade would be proud of the scenery
