  1. Certainly not a once in a lifetime thing then. I never noticed it snowing up there in July but some summers I am not watching as much as this summer. A weeks worth of sweet, sweet heat relief starting tomorrow. (Except on the Euro)
  2. It's running up the score on the LR Pattern and placement recognition. Its believe it also snowed in Canada like predicted. Some temps have been too cool in the LR like usual.
  3. Speaking of tracks, the GFS from last week nailed the general location of the storm this AM. Was too deep in intensity and was a little slow. Check out the GFS from 7 days ago. Americans can take a victory lap on this one.
  4. 70 here this AM. Looking at the Am models I feel we will need a juiced atmosphere over here to take advantage of Elsa's moisture in advance of the actual low. The core of the storm seems it is going too far east and being on the outside of, once up to this latitude, is going to be high and dry. Quick cut off.
  5. Just so we get paid back in October with below norms.
  6. Oh, allegiant. Well you never know with them but doing Elsa has anything to do with it.
  7. Does your flight have any connections or originations in NC? Not sure there is too much in the way of delays up the east coast. This thing is not even going to go below 1000MB
  8. I am worried about that. Had not checked tide info yet.
  9. I did not check out why but the GFS is still fairly decent temp wise late week and weekend this week,
  10. CMC just missed but a just miss can be bad if the storm is still somewhat organized...subsidence sends us into a sunny and hot day.
  11. Time crunched today but 3K Nam really gets Elsa moisture well into the LSV. Interesting.
  12. It would involved him swimming and delivering himself.
  13. We made it to 87. Was in Boiling Springs and they were at 89 on the car at 4PM. Not a bad heat though.
  14. Yea, this has been a hugely beneficial rain. Steady and hard. .2". We were going up there to watch the Waynesboro fireworks but the kibash may have been put on them now.
  15. I kept looking at radar and did not see anything but forget that it occasionally stops updating. Thanks for keeping me in line as we were about the leave for Pen Mar park which would have been a wet mistake.
  16. Opps, my radar was not updated. I heard rain outside and realized it. Seems I am going to get a bit.
  17. There is a ton of rain out to my east now. More even than was modeled.
  18. I was at Pine Grove Furnace today (Center point of App Trail) and it was absolutely amazing. Sun came out and got a tad hot but then clouds would roll in and cool it off. Rained a bit but not a rain out. I would be great if these breaks in summer keep rolling in on weekends.
