    My company is preparing for another State wide lockdown in the state our Corp office is located (this fall....not Florida.). Probably not as bad as last year but WFH put back into requirements for certain positions. People who are vaxxed probably need not worry too much yet but as the article suggested, 35-40 percent of the nation's adults are not and if you count kids it is less than 50% of the country. I would also expect a lot of states go back to full mask requirements this fall even if vaxxed.

    After July 25th, MDT has only reach 100 eleven of the potential 50 days into Early Sept...so a bit over 20%. The month prior going back to June 25th, MDT has reach 100 23 of the potential 31 days or 75%.

    All apologies to the dry/clean/subsidence side of a tropical storm, its probably not that often that a Tropical Storm warning is this close to Lancaster, from a storm well inland to the S/W, yet Lancaster could have not little to no apparent weather effect from it.

    One positive. GFS is on board with the very refreshing Sat Am temps now. Someone in Western PA/Tim Land may get into the 40's.

    GFS broad brushes some rain over the LSV this evening but certainly nothing to get excited about. Don't tell your daughters but Elsa has failed us.

    Speaking of Kings, I reading somewhere that they "upgraded" the Euro late last year. Since then has been its run of questionable skills.

    The Nam is an LSV kick in the groin today. Tropical systems can but just as bad as good if you just miss them. Leaves behind drying air and limits convection.

    Compared to last year, I have received a cornucopia of rain. But it has dried up the last several weeks and the constant above average temps and beating down sun are working their magic. I feel like there have been more days with hit or miss showers this year vs. last but its been much warmer this year (up to this point) which is nullifying some of the extra rain we got.

    Seems to be a regular summer these days with large areas facing drought concerns even if on D0 or D1. The drought map may be coming back next week if the pattern plays out like the GFS and Euro predict.

    3K Nam has some very refreshing temps Sat AM. Mid 50's for most of the state outside concrete jungles.

    12Z Nam twins go out of their way in skipping much of the LSV today. Does have a line coming through tomorrow but luck of the draw like playing "I Got It" at the York Fair.

    And these maps are so very localized in the summer since they are using some type of county average or a set of points in the county. Dauphin county says -2.7 but someone could be at -5 while someone else could be normal.

    My across street neighbors yard is a good representation of what I am calling brown. Some green blotches but most dormant and browning. Can still see the mowing lines from 7-10 days ago which is always a bad sign.

    Over here we stopped mowing last week. This happened a month earlier last year but have not heard a mower since June. No dirt patches yet just brown grass again. We had some rain July 3rd but nothing since.

    I would agree if that was not it for the next 10...which is a real risk.

    Just checked out the MA as I figured there would be a GFS vs Euro battle going on, in relation to Elsa, and there was but saw this as an extra bonus. Just to add to today's info. Short Pump type of day. This would include scattered rain part of tomorrow.
